The e-List of the Society for Hellenic-Iranian Studies, S.H.I.S

The Iranian Studies e-list is the top forum worldwide in the academic field of Iranian Studies. It was established independently by Dr Evangelos Venetis (Islamic and Iranian Studies, University of Leiden, the Netherlands) on 3 October 2001 when he was an MA student at the University of Ioannina, Greece.

The list has an academic character, aiming to inform its members about any scholarly developments in the field of Iranian Studies worldwide: conferences, publications, scholarships, departments-academic programmes, jobs and so on. The list has about 900 members, all of whom are affiliated or independent scholars, undergraduate and graduate students and individuals interested in Iranian studies. Membership is free of charge.
